Critics of modernity complain incessantly about how younger generations always have their faces buried in their phones.
Most of the time they point to the obvious problem with this phenomena, mainly that it causes people to shut out the world around them.

Take for instance the story of a young man who was murdered at a popular tourist spot in San-Francisco while deeply involved playing the new smartphone game “Pokemon Go.”
Details are still sketchy but it would appear this young man was the victim of a random act of violence.
