Door-to-door testing will begin tomorrow in eight postcodes where the South African variant has been found.

People living in these areas have been told to stay at home even if they don’t have symptoms.

Speaking at a news conference after 105 cases of the variant were identified, the Health Secretary said there “may be further cases we don’t know about yet”.”
