Alabama senator says Congress must act on gun violence

Sen. Doug Jones, D-Ala., heads to the Senate to vote on the bipartisan “Stop Enabling Sex Traffickers Act” which would allow victims of sex trafficking to sue websites that enabled their abuse, on Capitol Hill in Washington, Wednesday, March 21, 2018. In his maiden speech to the Senate today, Jones said the nation has reached a “tipping point” on gun violence following the mass shooting at a Florida high school and Congress must address gun violence, even as lawmakers protect the Second Amendment rights of gun owners.
