Why Not to Shoot at a Hurricane

Someone tweeted that to relieve stress and boredom, people should shoot their guns at hurricane Irma, has caused some outrageous response. However, one man responded by warning people NOT to shoot into Irma for an obvious reason – the bullets are affected by the winds and could be blown back at them or at others.

In movies and on TV we often see people shooting guns into the air. On New Year’s Eve, many people also shoot their guns into the air, not realizing the danger they are placing others into.


Think about it – the bullets don’t just go up in the sky and stay there, they eventually come back down to earth where they can still injure and kill someone.
