All 50 states recognize the driver’s licenses from every other state. They also recognize many other things from state to state, but few states recognize the concealed carry permits from other states. There are two bills in Congress designed to rectify this problem. In the Senate, there is the Constitutional Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017 and in the House, there is the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act of 2017. If passed and signed into law, it would require every state to recognize the concealed carry permits from every other state.
A number of anti-gun neo-com run states are fighting against these bills and vow not to honor them if passed.
