Minnesota Man Seeks Permit to Sell Firearms from Home

Jordan, Minnesota is a small suburb of less than 6,000 people several miles southwest of Minneapolis. Shannon Oleson has lived in Jordan for many years and has now applied to the city for permission to sell firearms from home.

No, he is not opening a traditional gun shop at his home nor does he intend to keep a large supply of guns or ammunition at his residence. In reality, he only wants permission to be a broker to help people legally purchase firearms. The only guns that will be stored at his house will be those that customers have ordered and paid for and will be kept in his safe until being picked up by the customer.
