Michigan Senate Passes Sweeping Concealed Carry Bill

If Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton is right, arming more people is the best solution to stopping more mass shootings like the one at the First Baptist Church in Sutherland Springs Texas that left 26 dead and many more injured.

In response to the mass shooting in Texas over the weekend, Michigan Senate Republicans voted to pass a bill that will allow concealed carry permit holders to carry their weapons in more places including schools, preschools, churches, many other places that have been gun free zones. The measure is to allow more people to be armed so they can help stop a shooting in progress. The vote was along party lines and now moves to the Michigan House where Republicans hold a majority.
