If you’ve seen the movie “Lone Survivor,” you’re probably familiar with Marcus Luttrell. He’s the guy Mark Walberg was portraying in the film, after all.
Since returning, Luttrell hasn’t exactly been all Hollywood, either. In addition to his odd film appearance here and there, he also works to make lives better for veterans.
The foundation he started, the Lone Survivor Foundation, is dedicated to similar good deeds. Unfortunately, good deeds require funds, and that means they need to raise money. Luckily, they’ve found a heck of a way to do just that.
A Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Compact pistol chambered in 9mm, sporting a special “Lone Star” color scheme and nicknamed the “Dream Gun,” will be raffled off by the Lone Survivor Foundation on Dec. 11.
