Breaking: Atlanta High School Freshman Dies After Football Conditioning

If you played football, or know someone who did, then you have an idea of how rough conditioning could be out in the hot sun!

An Atlanta teenager, a freshman at Creekside High School, has died after football conditioning on Monday.  The Fulton County school’s coach said he noticed that Kamari McGowen looked pale, and so he pulled the boy off the field. Paramedics were called immediately, and they transported him to the hospital where he died.


Susan Hale stated, “Fulton County Schools is saddened by the heartbreaking news of the death of Kamari,” the spokeswoman continued, “… The cause of death has not been confirmed.”
