In the midst of another rumored shakeup on Sunday, top Administration officials took to the airwaves to respond. After the resignation of David Sorensen and Rob Porter over domestic abuse allegations, Chief of Staff, Gen. John Kelly’s job seems to hang in the balance.
Reports indicate that President Trump is annoyed with the actions of White House Chief of Staff for mishandling the fallout from abuse allegations against Staff Secretary Rob Porter. In the past few days, Trump has had second thoughts on the appointment of John Kelly as White House Chief of Staff. He even called the previous Chief of Staff, Reince Priebus, last week, to discuss Kelly’s job performance. John Kelly has only been Chief of staff for more than six months.
